The Marketing Triple Threat - WordPress - Blogger -Facebook fan page
The triple threat strategy (Wordpress-Blogger-Facebook fan page) for selling product and making excellent
income from multiple sources is a strategy that I employ on every
website that I generate and almost every time I have an idea for a
new website -which is quite often - I use this method, with great
success so now I will lay this method out for No More Timeclock
readers.

As always, we are going to try to spend as little money as possible
so to do the triple threat strategy you are going to need around 13
bucks for a domain name and around 13.oo per month for webhosting.
If you already have web hosting then you will simply add on a new
domain at no additional charge. I use and recommend hostgator ad I
recommend the Baby plan highly. You get Unlimited Domains with this
plan -Its insane but true - So you get one domain as your primary
and just add any many other domains that you buy under add-on
domains for one low fee! The first month is around 13.OO (without
coupons) and then you are looking at about 35.00 every three months
- a perfect steal for the internet presence you will build.

When you have selected and purchased a domain name and set up web
hosting or added on a domain then you are ready to begin -you can go to Host Gator and buy the domain name of your choice and then immediately add your hosting plan from the same fine site. I usually try to get a .com extension if at all possible so when you are searching to see if your domain is available add the .com to the name such as search for bobsbargainbooks.com and opposed to just bobsbargainbooks because then they will give you any .net, ..us, .tv, etc that is available - There is nothing wrong with these of course and they work just the same but, for me, a .com extension carries more weight and is easier to remember and also sounds most professional.

Ok - Now you have done all you can do after buying a domain (renewable once a year!) and purchased your hosting plan so now you must wait a couple of hours or so until your brand new internet property is propagated on the internet and ready for use. It seems like an amazingly cheap transaction to buy a piece of the internet for 10-12 bucks that could conceivable and hopefully make you thousands of dollars but that is the going rate and that is why I snap up domain names every chance I get. I love building a brand new website and putting it out there with my best efforts - should your website not turn out to be a winner, you just take the tiny loss and make another (just don't renew the domain name!!)
You should have gotten an email from Hostgator with all your relevant information -save this email and login to your Customer Panel (CPanel)- If you have set up domains and hosting before this should be a snap, if not there are a couple of small duties you must do -such as changing the name-servers so they point to Host gator (or whatever hosting company you signed on with)- Instructions for this are on host gator website and, should you have any issue at all -call or chat with customer service. The support at host gator is second to none. Here is a link to the page should you need it - http://support.hostgator.com/articles/when-will-my-domain-start-working-propagation
With all that business out of the way we will now download WordPress to your site - you can do that easily from the host gator CPanel by clicking WordPress. It takes a minute or so and then you will make up a username and be given a password -hold on to these as you will need it to login to WordPress. It is recommended you change your password once you login to Wordpress (Dashboard, settings, writing) and you can begin to work on your website.
1. Log into your WordPress dashboard---If you’re not sure how-type in: http://yoursite.com/wp-admin (replace “yoursite” with your domain).
This is where it all begins-in the Wordpress dashboard - Now there is no "correct" way to set up your Wordpress site -everybody does it differently and in different sequence but here are some things you will want to do if you are brand new to Wordpress. You will need to :
- Pick a Theme (Appearance/Themes or Customize your site) - you can always change later
- Customize your site the way you like it -Color scheme, background, logo, favicon, etc (Appearance)
- Add pages as you need then add to a menu
- Decide whether you want a static (a never changing page) or a blog page for your front page.
- Install the plugins you want - If you are building an e-commerce site you would probably want to install woocommerce plugin or shopify plugin. Plugins are great helpers but this is up to the user and requires some trial and error to see what works for you. It is imperative though to get a good SEO plugin such as YoastSEO, SquirrleySEO, or UltimateSEO because these get your page created properly and optimized to the search engines.
- At this point you want to create your content - Blog posts-e-commerce-reviews-tuturials-whatever it is you have in mind for your website
- Monetize your blog with Google Adsense - This is something that can make you a good amount of money depending upon traffic and how many sites you have. basically, you are just letting google run ads on your website and, if someone clicks on these ads you get paid and should they buy something, you get paid even more. Sign up for Google Adsense
- Adsense works like this - you add your site(s) from admin area then create an ad campaign. Google then gives you a unique html code where you can then copy and paste the code into the text widget area in WordPress (appearance/ widgets)-you just drag the text box over to the part of the site you want the ads to run-usually sidebar or footer, then place your html code there and you are now going to have a monetized website.
So now we have our main website up and running and we are ready to move on to another wonderful Blogging Platform and the second of our triple threat marketing package -Blogger. Sign up for a Blogger account if you don't already have one, it's totally free. Make sure that you name or Blogger site exactly as you named your Wordpress site, or at least reasonably close should that name not be available. Blogger is very easy to use. Here is a look at the Blogger Dashboard:
- In the top left, next to "New blog" click the Down arrow .
- Click New blog.
- Enter a name for your blog. (Same or Similar to Wordpress name)
- Choose a blog address, or URL. (Same or similar to Wordpress URL)
- Choose a template.
- Click Create blog.
- Now you can start moving Content from your Wordpress site right into your Blogger site in the form of Posts and Pages-depending on the content
- Blogger is owned by the mighty Google so, after a few days have passed and you have entered some Posts and pages to your Blogger site, then Click the earnings tab and following the Adsense instructions and Google will monetize this blog right away.
- Now you have two operating websites that are monetized.
We are now ready to head over to Social Media Giant Facebook and quickly create a Facebook fan page for our Sites. Click the arrow on the top left and click Create Page. You will then come to this page -pictured below
- Click to choose a Page category based on what your site is about
- Select a more specific category from the drop-down menu and fill out the required information.
- Click Get Started and follow the on-screen instructions.
- You will then be asked to add a cover for the blank space on top of page, and a profile picture ( I like to use images from my original WordPress site here on Facebook but that is up to you.
- Start transferring blog posts and media and whatever products you may be selling over to your Facebook fan page and you have completed the triple threat!
Naturally -The process doesn't stop here. When you create a new Blog post, page or product, make sure you also add it to your Blogger and Facebook fan page in so doing you are growing your sites and increasing your internet presence.
You can keep growing your site and create your Brand by signing up (or creating a new account) for Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and other social Media platforms.
For instance - When I create a nice new blog post or new page on Wordpress, I add it to Blogger, Facebook fan page. then tweet out the blog post on Twitter, create a Pinterest Board and post to that, and copy the post to Tumblr. I also like to submit my site to Stumbleupon and Reddit -Big time exposure that will pay dividends.
There you have the Marketing Triple Threat . It may take you a bit of time on your first site, but after that it is a snap and this will go a long, long for your internet presence and, of course, your bank account.
